This tool embeds a signature image on your PDF - similar to signing a printed page and scanning it back in. It is useful for informal agreements, internal approvals, and forms that accept a visual signature.
It does not create a legally certified digital signature (such as PKCS#7/PAdES) with identity verification, certificate chains, or tamper-evident audit trails. If your workflow requires a certified e-signature platform, use a provider built for that purpose.
With PageCraft PDF, your PDF and signature image are processed in memory on the server. Files are not kept as permanent storage.
